Welcome to 2022!

As we say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022, we would first, like to humbly thank you for your support and encouragement.

The end of a year and the beginning of a new one is a good time to reflect on our journey till now and plan for the year ahead.

Reflecting on 2021

A lot happened in 2021. Since our launch in 2020, we have made amazing progress, even during a pandemic. The pandemic has ushered in digital transformation in full swing and brought to the fore the need for professionals to constantly equip themselves with new skills. The increase in automation means professionals need to stay abreast with the latest ways of doing things to stand out and make a mark for themselves. From the insurance industry standpoint, the industry has seen a shift in terms of newly emerging markets, customer preferences, purchasing patterns, and instant customer service expectations. We capitalized on these emerging paradigms by building on our capabilities and moved from strength to strength leveraging technology to expand our reach to as many aspiring and enthusiastic professionals as possible. More importantly, we succeeded in keeping the learning process simple, interesting, engaging, and consistent.

We launched our webinar series on more than 30 contemporary and relevant topics ranging from drones to insurtech, title insurance, credit insurance, and adapting to the virtual world in the post COVID era. Our technical sessions focus on unique insurance topics such as ratios in insurance, the legal framework of insurance, reinsurance practices, valuation of property, and industry-specific risk management for newly emerging risks. All along we kept in mind the needs of early insurance professionals. We designed our courses and webinars to arm early insurance professionals with a better understanding of client needs and products so they can create meaningful customer experiences.

We built a strong presence on social media by disseminating a range of knowledge bites in the form of blogs, news updates, insurance quizzes, glossaries, and subject expert talks. These were done to help learners stay abreast with the latest market trends, players, and products so they are ready to create an impact at their workplace. We also had the opportunity to conduct in-person workshops on a variety of business topics and soft skills for our corporate clientele, helping prepare their teams to become more resourceful, competent, and relevant in an evolving market. We leveraged the in-depth industry experience that our subject matter experts and coaches bring with them. This helps us offer a differentiated learning experience to our learners.

Key milestones

We kicked off 2020 with the launch of a vibrant and interactive website. We continue to improve and fine-tune it to suit the needs of our learners. We also began our social media journey to stay connected and deliver knowledge bites to our learners. We quickly adapted to the needs of our learners, putting up convenient time schedules with short and easy to consume programs on online platforms that address both individual professional and corporate needs. We onboarded more than 1000 learners in 2021 and reached many more through our social media channels.

We launched three courses and programs:

1.       Insurance for Beginners course, a uniquely designed course for beginners and early insurance professionals to get market-ready and apply learnings in their jobs from the word go.

2.       Insurance Refresher program, a specially curated content package that opens up new product avenues and greater choice of job profiles and roles for our learners. Many professionals who want to diversify have reaped the benefits of this program to learn new products and practices. For instance, motor insurance to non-motor products, health insurance to commercial property insurances, and more.

3.      Workplace Excellence course, a holistic and structured learning and development program for corporates in the insurance industry. The program meets the ongoing need of corporates to keep their teams motivated, informed, and equipped with a deep understanding of insurance nuances, thereby accelerating performance and helping build a high-performing team culture.

Looking ahead

The year has strengthened our belief in the need to upskill and reskill continuously and consistently as a way to be prepared for the future. As we look ahead, we are confident 2022 will be another promising year filled with loads of new opportunities as we plan to expand our online reach to professionals across India. We also aspire to equip college students with the fundamentals of insurance in the form of top-up courses for management and commerce graduates thereby facilitating them to pursue an insurance career by choice and creating wider employment opportunities for them.

While we have accomplished a lot, this is just the start of our journey. We are grateful to our corporate clientele who have shown their trust in us and continue to encourage us with their engagement. We enjoy and value our relationships throughout the banking and insurance community.
